NHIT to provide 200 jobs

TIRUVARUR: NHIT, the American multinational IT-enabled services company, which provides solutions in software development and web applications, started its branch here on Friday.
C. Sivagnanaselvam, District Governor, Rotary International district 2980 declared open the branch.
P. Dayaparan, the Executive Director- NHIT Tiruchi, said that the NHIT had been operating successfully in Madurai, Aduthurai, Karur, Pudukottai and Tiruchi. In Tiruvarur, it has planned to provide 200 white collar jobs in BPO and software development fields.
Second phase
He also added that, through this new branch, NHIT would provide 350 more jobs in the software development centre in the second phase for those trained at NHIT.
NHIT has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Sutherland for placement in voice and non-voice processes. It has a tie-up with many colleges to promote latest technology, soft skills, BPO and medical transcription training. Bharathidasan University has also signed an MoU on certifying a few courses of NHIT.
